Water creates signs with a reflective environment. You know, these are just two opposite extremes of the same pole. So water signs have a lot of potential to be either self-absorbed or self-realized. They need and love and want to reflect upon themselves. The water signs – Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces – share (to different extents) that quality. The main quality of water in astrology is that it provides resources for your to reflect upon yourself. If you look into a pool of water you can almost always see a reflection of yourself. Water is the only element that makes reflections. What we want to do right now is just understand the first layer of meaning by exploring what water means and how this trait is held in common by all the three signs that water creates.
